The Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR, also sometimes called the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad or ROCA) is a semi-autonomous, canonical jurisdiction of the Moscow Patriarchate. ROCOR was originally formed in opposition to the policy of Bolsheviks regarding religion in the Soviet Union (soon after the Russian Revolution).

This jurisdiction has many parishes and monasteries throughout the world — a majority of which are found in North America, Australia, and Europe. In America, there are three dioceses: Eastern American, Chicago and Mid-America, and Western American.
Our mission is a part of the Diocese of Chicago and Mid-America — under the guidance of His Eminence, Archbishop Peter.
